Today around 5:30pm I placed an order (58) for a full chicken, for collection. I arrived approximately 40mins later to collect and when the gentleman behind the till checked he found the order slip still on the in-tray. The order was not ready as was confirmed by one of the kitchen staff and this was because the chicken was in the oven.
The guy from the kitchen confirmed that from the oven the chicken was still to go to the grill so it would take time. You could see the distress in the guy's face as he returned to update me. He said the order would be about 30mins. To this I responded by asking him why an order I placed 30mins ago was still going to take another 30mins to prepare. He had no answer to this. He then went to the kitchen and a couple of minutes later, I saw him as he took out a fresh pack of raw rainbow chicken and open it.
That merely drove me to telling the gentleman to cancel my order and I walked out.
