On Mother's day, 12/05/2013, my family and I went to the Lone Wolf Spur on Eastwood Road in Randpark Ridge. We requested to be seated in the smoking section, only to be told "We were very busy, so we made the smoking section "no smoking"."
It's bad enough that the act in place limits our rights, but the fact that we have an allocated space gives us smokers a RIGHT to smoke in that section. The manager obviously cares more about his non-smoking customers than his smoking customers. He wanted my 59 year old mother and 61 year old father (including myself and my brother) to sit outside and get up each time to stand in a little nook to have our cigarettes.
It is in my opinion that Spur Lone Wolf considers smokers to be SECOND CLASS CITIZENS, otherwise why would they decide to give our smoking section away to non-smokers. There used to be a time where a restaurant was full, you waited for an open table, or sat in a section that wasn't your desired section. I will not be recommending this Spur branch to any of my fellow smokers, and recommend that every smoker follows suit.
