Well what can I say, I travelled to Russia in August 2013 only to release upon my return that my internet banking was hacked into during this time and daily payments was withdrawn. Of course reported this to Standard Bank upon my return who said investigation will take 4 - 6 weeks. Well about 8 weeks later I got the response that they will unfortunately not be refunding me because it was internet banking and they do not have insurance on internet banking. My question is why allow people then to do internet banking and why do you have an internet banking site if you cannot even take care of your customers money. This service and assistance was pathetic and especially the comment on "because we do not have insurance on internet banking".
