Failure to repair burst geyser & shocking service

On 26/12/13, we reported a burst geyser to CIB Insurance in the morning. During the afternoon, their service provider Imbazo Plumbing, replaced the burst geyser. There was still no hot water this morning and we reported the matter to Imbazo Plumbing and CIB Insurance at about 7 am. Imbazo Plumbing insisted that the manufacturer of the new geyser Kwikot must ascertain the reason for the geyser not working. When we advised them that in terms of the Consumer Protection Act they must replace the defective geyser with a new working geyser Fred from Imbazo Plumbing became abusive and said "if I had it my way, we will replace your geyser in the new year". We made many, many calls to CIB call centre and their claims department and spoke to numerous people whose names we have noted throughout the morning and they refused to replace the defective geyser and insisted that Kwikot, the manufacturer of the geyser ascertain why the geyser is not working. we eventually agreed out of frustration at about 12h00 that Kwikot can come and ascertain the reason for the geyser not working. It is now 16h00 and nothing has still been done. A good example of bad insurance.
