I logged my claim with ABSA home owners insurance on the 30th November 2013, ref MQ-YJ-2X-01. When I got no response from them, I phoned again and they said they did not have this claim on record and I had to re-submit the claim (Claim No. 249-6610). The assessor have eventually come out on the 7th of December to see the damage, but no-one keeps me informed of the status of the claim. I'm now on the phone for twenty minutes and I cannot get through. I phoned again and I cannot leave an message because the user's mailbox is full!!!
I have been an loyal ABSA customer for many years and I have never claimed from this policy however this poor service leaves an bitter taste in my mouth.
