Frustratingly inept customer service

I first contacted Computershare in June because I wanted to buy Sasol BEE. I was told to complete the forms emailed to me. I received feedback that they needed my proof of taxpayer number again, and I sent it again. I then was very ill.

Today I called to purchase the shares. First I am told that there is no record of my account. Then I am told that they are waiting for my tax ref number, and when I say I sent it, there is a 2 minute delay before I am told that yes, everything is in order. (this is now the second customer service agent)

The process to buy shares is incredibly inefficient, and seems to be:
Call Computershare to get their banking details because it is not on any of the documentation sent when the account was opened
Deposit money into computershare's bank account
Call computershare again to make purchase.

But for BEE shares there is an extra form that has to be filled in, which apparently includedsomething like a purchase order
I spent about 45 minutes today being passed back and forth and being told various different things about the state of my account and what I needed to do to proceed. I am now being asked for the full set of RICA documents. Some of us work
