Standard bank use inferior contractors and leave you in the when you need it most. After rebuilding my house due to fire damage, Standard bank just fails to guarantee the structure they authorised. The house were never enrolled with the NHBRC nor was the contractor Amalgamated entreprises on the NHBRC contractors list. The house fails in every possible department and they just don't care. Now while I was in Germany we had to replace the geyser urgently. Now because we did not phone their 24 hr line I cant claim for the geyser that was replaced by a reputable contractor. I am currently moving my insurance from Stannic to Etana. How is it possible that companies like STANDARD bank still be going in todays world. I would never advise any one ever to look standard banks way. only one word. USELESSS
