Im a bit confused - i took out a loan with AB. The condition of the loan was that part would consolidate my FNB loan i agreed to these terms and went on my merrry way - my funds were paid and i assumed (silly me) that FNB had also been sorted but when i logged into my account this was not the case- after many calls back and forth i discovered that it had been returned to African Bank - now here is my PROBLEM! IT WAS RETURNED AND NO ONE LET ME KNOW OR DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT? WHY? why is it sooo difficult for someone to pick up a phone and contact fnb to confirm or call me even to check- i have spent 3 DAYS and finally a helful soul (so unfunate i cant remember her name i think portia) told me to get a settlement letter and resend it to AB to get it settled. I now have to pay african bank for a service that was incomplete AND FNB again this month. what if i hadnt checked what would have happened to that money??? Also the new amount is less than the alleged original settlement amount so please ensure that i get paid the balance into my bank account!!! i am after all going to be repaying it!
