When Computershare took over the admin of Sanlam shares, they messed up my Banking details. I also needed to update my details to my married surname and new address. I have been trying to do this since 1999. All correspondence from them still goes to my old address and I have never received a single dividend from my shares. I sent through an e-mail via their website on Friday once again asking for this to be sorted out. Received a reply today asking me to send through certiified copies of a list of documents via registered mail yet again - I've sent through the necessary documents 2/3 times in the past, but they never updated my details, now I must go through more inconvenience, waste more time to get copies certified, go to the post office, etc and there is no guaranteee that this time, they will get it right. And not an apology in sight? Where has all my money from my dividends gone? What happens if I die tomorrow - no one will get my shares as 'they are not mine' apparently! So disgusted at this lack of effort towards making this right. Is this how they treat their clients - do you know that Computershare would not exist without clients?
