We applied for a business loan more than 2 months ago. Our current loan is almost paid off and we wanted to expand our business. Our financial statements etc that were required for our application were submitted by us the very next day, and we were informed nothing further was required. The valuator (who I was assured normally comes out within a couple of days of a loan application) was only sent out 3 weeks later to assess our business premises. The valuator needed the business's financials in order to do his valuation. After failing to get these from the bank, we had to supply him directly. Over the past 6 weeks, we have made numerous phone calls to Leon Stenvert to follow up on our loan application. When we phoned on his business cell phone, he recognises our number and fails to answer. We have left numerous messages and never been called back. We have called the office and when he is not in, left messages with his assistant to call us back, we never get called back. The odd occasion he was was in the office and we got hold of him, (as he cannot screen the calls on a landline), he promises to follow up our application and get back to us. We are still waiting...
