We unfortunately had a very bad experience with Ryan Venter and Global Equity Trading - although the contract was signed with Hourglass trading (still not sure to this date which company is responsible for waht). We were totally mislead by Ryan when selling us the software and he also stopped answering our calls and ignoring messages. I would really like to warn anyone to be very wary of dealing with this company based on our experiences. The only positive was dealing with Devin of IG Markets who actually do the trading - I wish that we had known that we could have just traded through them and not bought this software from Global Equity/Hourglass (whoever is responsible). Even when phoning their offices your messages never get answered and it takes numerous calls to receive any feedback. We are R20 000 poorer which we can ill afford and the stress of dealing with Ryan and these companies had me in tears on numerous occasions. I guess we only have our own bad judgement to blame - remember, if something sounds to good to be true it most probably is! I know that we will never recover this money but I just hope that this post may save someone else losing their hard earned cash.
