I recently bought a GroupOn voucher for a meal at a restaurant. Upon trying to redeem the voucher I was informed that GroupOn had printed the incorrect expiry date. I ended up paying the full amount for the entire meal (I had invited colleagues for dinner). I was disappointed that GroupOn were not proactive in informing people who had not redeemed vouchers of the misprint. I forwarded a mail regarding this incident on 25/10/2013. I sent follow up mails on 04/11/2013 and 05/11/2013 (the second follow-up mail was sent after I was placed on hold by their automated system for more than 5 minutes on 05/11/2013 when I tried to call them). The only response I received was a reference number on an automated e-mail (after the first e-mail I sent). Was happy with GroupOn before this incident but now I am starting to think that something has gone wrong with them...
