I booked a flight through Travelstart. When I wanted to change this flight I was told (by a voice mail system) that the offices were closed but I could send an urgent email and that my request would be answered within 24hrs. I sent an email which was only answered 48hrs later. Then there was a protracted process of emailing to get to a suitable alternative date and time. This took another day. I then received an incorrect invoice and this took more time to sort out. I paid and sent proof of payment immediately. I then received an email to say that I have to pay before 2pm or lose the booking. When I phoned to clarify I was told that the booking was made and confirmed. When I then tried to book seats though the airline website it said that the booking code provided was incorrect. I phone Travelstart and was told that indeed that booking code was incorrect. Another one was provided. However, what I was not told is that because I had booked through Travelstart I could not book my seats before 24hrs. So the lesson is - Travelstart takes more time and effort and is actually very inconvenient as opposed to being the most efficient option. Book airlines directly.
