Dear Emirates, I am a loyal skywards member (as you know) and make extensive use of your airlines both in a business and personal capacity because you normally provide a quality service and more importantly a reliable one...
But my how you have let me down over this past holiday season!!
You started off by delaying us on our flight from Dubai to Dallas [EK221, 21/12/2013] which resulted in us missing our connection to Mexico (thus making our trip over 41 hours long) and cutting our holiday short by 1 full day - no apology or compensation received to this date, not like the Emirates I know?!
You then delayed us again on our return journey from New York [EK0204, 7/01/2014] to Dubai, meaning that we missed our connection to JHB. You then DOWNGRADED?!? us for the inconvenience, thanks, and again no formal apology was given (let alone compensation). Upon arriving in JHB we then were furthermore disappointed to learn that you had lost one of our suit cases - pending matter, yet to receive the bag?
This is just completely unacceptable!
I can only hope that this message will spark some kind of consideration for all of the inconvenience caused?
