SAA is awful

On the 24th December I flew SAA 234 from JNB to LHR. We were due to take off at 20:40, we only took off at about 2am Christmas morning. We were meant to land at 06:25am LHR, but sadly instead of arriving at around 8:30am and spending the first Christmas in FIVE YEARS with my family, I arrived in Oxford at gone 1:30pm, therefore ruining Xmas.

On top of this, the staff in JNB were rude and inconsiderate, telling us a number of from the plane door falling off to a technical fault to a light not working on the wing. They refused to offer us water to drink or food, and made us sit in the stinking hot waiting area with no answers to our questions. We were shouted at by Captain Black who told us he deserved to be treated like a human when we got frustrated, not realizing that the company he represents had treated us worse than animals.

SAA ruined my Christmas with my family. On top of that, on the return flight, I was charged for being overweight by 2kg's when I had no scale to weight my suitcase, and didn't think it would matter as I had NO HAND LUGGAGE.

I look forward to a response so I can explain the full extent of this awful trip. Will never fly SAA again.
