Like so many of you out there, we were also cheated out of our hard earned cash. Let us start by WARNING everybody, not to sign on the dotted line.read the contract or refer it to a attorney. My husband and i signed a contract with GTASA in July 2011.After paying for about a year we decided to make use of the facility to travel overseas. Discounts on airfares, hotels etc promised in contract were all. Flight tickets offered by GTASA were about R2500.00 MORE than quotes we got from four other reputable travel agents. GTASA contract states that they ACT AS A TRAVEL AGENT... so why could they not get closer to the quotes offered by other travel agencies. Discounts on hotel fees (40%and up to 75%) this also never happens. Ask yourselves, who benefits actually? Do report them to NCC OR CONSUMER PROTECTOR, or take them to court.
