I have been requesting GTASA to find accommodation at Ngwenya Lodge/Kruger Park Surrounds for the first week in January 2014 since the beginning of 2013. I purposely approached GTASA early as I had very specific dates that I wanted and required a confirmation as the accommodation affected a whole lot of plans. ie. kennelling that has to be confirmed 18mths prior to date etc. I have phoned umpteen times and spoken to Lindsey who promised that someone would contact me regarding my request... well i am still waiting and am tired of wasting my money on phone calls! I have now booked at Kruger Park Lodge with absolutely no thanks to GTASA and had no problem whatsoever getting a confirmation and a decent rate! What is GTASA actually doing for us after taking our money? Nothing! They have only ever been able to accommodate us once since we joined years ago. We go away regularly and everytime end up making the arrangements ourselves as GTASA cannot supply the service or give outrageously expensive quotes! However they are very quick in demanding their yearly levy! How do we go about getting rid of this white elephant?
