I tried to book a 7-11 Oct midweek with my HOLIDAY CLUB points for 2 people at the Natal North coast but was quickly told no availability. I mean it is out of season, no long weekends, no school holidays, one month ahead of time. If you go look at the hotels and apartment buildings they are standing empty!! I was willing to take anything not even a specific preference but no they have nothing on the WHOLE OF THE NORTH COAST OF KWAZULU NATAL out of thousands of apartments in their portfolio. They offer specials for booking closer to the time, less points required for out of season bookings Probably to try & fill their vacancies. But that's not the whole story, I was willing to change my holiday to the next week 14 - 18 Oct. Guess what - NOTHING AVAILABLE for a whole 2 weeks nothing on the WHOLE OF THE KWAZULU NATAL STRETCH OF NORTH COACH. And that's out of season. Poor souls trying to make use their (expensive) points during season - I pity them.
