I think this company got my e-mail address through a job ad on Gumtree. This week I received a Newsletter from the apparent CEO of this company. I asked him to please remove me from their mailing list and then got semi-harassed by him via e-mailing which eventually culminated in him calling me an evil soul... all because I asked to be removed from a mailing list. Is it not my right to ask to be removed from a mailing list, especially when I am being sent unsolicited e-mails? Also, I find it HIGHLY unprofessional that you could harass someone and then call them an evil soul purely because they do not wish to receive your spam e-mails.
After asking for a second time that he please remove me from their mailing list, he told me to first read their Newsletter and that he would then remove me from the mailing list. When I refused, he e-mailed me back saying: " Bless your evil soul.". I honestly do not appreciate getting mails like this from anyone, let alone a CEO of a business that is apparently in the tourism sector. Absolutely poor form.
