As a passenger and visitor to South Africa, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service which I have received from your call centre. I rung this morning at 0810 to request a change of flight dates from South Africa to London Heathrow for myself and my 2 young children.
I was advised to call back at 1200 to confirm my request, upon calling back I was informed that due to a back log the request had not been processed and was advised to call back after 1700.
Upon calling at 2000 I was then advised that the representative had not notified the request centre of seat availability and that both my children's and my request had not been processed. I was also then informed that due to there only being 1 seat available that I would have to pay whatever the change in fare would be.
This has left a terrible impression of your national airline on what had been a fantastic visit to your country.
The fact that there was not even a hint of remorse or recourse leaves me dumbfounded and appalled.
I would expect a phone call or some form of acknowledgement and explanation of this shambolic display of poor/ non existent customer service.
