Misleading marketing

The Holiday club is running a. I tried to cancel my contract after 1 month of taking it out and they are refusing to cancel the agreement. I spoke to a lady called Chantell who said despite the fact that we have not used their services and we had already paid a deposit of R4400 they cannot cancel. They are telling me that I have to pay a cancellation fee in excess of R12000 before they can cancel. The contract was signed with Lucas Muller, who promised superb service and said that we can cancel the agreement at any point in time. He made no mention of a cancellation fee or that we have to cancel within 5 days. This is unacceptable and I will definitely be taking this up with anyone and everyone who is willing to listen and Lucas will not be making any sales in future if I have anything to do with it. I have tried calling Lucas and leaving him messages but he has not gotten back to me.
