Incorrect Debit Orders

I have recently changed to a new bank for my salary payments. Unfortunately I was unable to visit Telkom early so they can update their records with the new billing information and their debit orders of R199 bounced. To my surprise Telkom processed the debit every 5 days which of course bounces and the bank charges me R115 for every time it bounces and already the tried 4 times. I visited Telkom office in Hatfield to update my Debit order information to reflect the new account so their debits could go through. I was told they can not update my details because my account is suspended. I was told to pay the last month bill using this ref number 850408005006145030. When i got to ABSA i was told the reference number is incorrect. Now i have to drive all the way back to Telkom again. And it seems the old account will still be debited and leave me with a R115 accumulating negative balance every 5 days if Telkom doesn't sort this out.
