No starter packs

I have a contaract with mtn that i took 3 weeks back in Alexandra and the person who assisted me was Andries and very helpful. 7 month back i was approached by Edcon for R50 airtime that i paid R33. when i took my contract phone, i requested that i want them to activate that phone with my starter pack unfortunatly the starter pack was on top up so they were unable to assist. i asked the guy if its gonna be possible to cancel my top up and have that contract on my old number and it was agreed. today i called Mtn on 0831237667 and they transfered me to this lady which i explained everything and she said its fine. i then went to mtn boulders, they were slow, answering personal phones infront of us and so unproffessional. i was assisted by the guy named George which he just made things complicated. i told him my story but he said that impossible. then i requested sim swup on my old number so i can insert it on my new 3d phone, he said there is no starter pack. what kind of service is that. All i want is a simple thing and its so impossible according to them. i need someon who can assist with this cause i waisted my hour waiting in a queue for mahala..
