Debit an account wrongfully

I cannot grasp the concept of suppliers debiting accounts they have no right to be in. I do not have an active contract with Autopage, but now they decide that I am my father and they will debit my account. Unfortunately for them and myself, the account had no funds, but now the bank is charging me for an unpaid debit order.

It's ridiculous that they don't make sure their records are correct or updated, poor service is just unacceptable. I will definitely never get a contract with them ever again.
