I have opened a new data contract with Vodacom.
Before I opened the contract, I confirmed on the website (Vodacom Coverage Map) that there is 4G and 3G signal.
So I decided to go for the 4G option and got the Vodafone K5006-Z modem, the modem installed 100% and the software detected the hardware and I unlocked the device, the device is searching for network but NO NETWORK can be found, ANYWHERE I go, from Ashlea Gardens to Capital Park, NO NETWORK
I went into a Vodacom shop in Menlyn Retail Park and the technician told me that there is no network for 4G in pretoria, they will probably get in a few months...
Then I asked, why can't this modem (K5006-Z) connect to 3G, apparently this modem can't and I need to get a other modem that is capable of connecting to 3G...
So... WHY show on the coverage map, there is 4G when there is not??? Alteast put a notice on the website or let the sale people tell you this things
