Contract not cancelled

I have 8ta 24 month contract. It has come to an end in december. I requested in december that my number must be converted to pay as you go. They promised me that it will be done before the end of January. End of jan nothing done, I have been calling the call centre, going to the store in fourways crossings, no joy. Now I will just block their debit orders may be someone would listen.
