Vodacom supplies damaged goods

On d 3/02 i took out a contract with vodacom. they supplied me with a blackberry phone. when i picked up d phone, the guy informed me that if d phone had any issues, i could bring it back within 7 days and it would be replaced. after 7days, d phone would then fall under the warranty.the unit supplied was a damaged unit with the sensor block not responding.i took the phone back to the store and spoke to dominique.she then tells me the phone will have to be sent for assesment and will be repaired, which will take 7 days to and another 7 days to repair.she said it was in the contract that i signed.i told her that this wasnt explained to me but she was not interested.she wanted me to come back in 5 days when the sales person who served me, will be back from leave.i left the phone with her after much effort. when i got home and looked at the contract, it stated no such things as dominique claimed.i called the store back and asked to speak to the supervisor.it turned out dominique is the supervisor and the store owner, craig was also on leave.i requested that craig call me but still have had no response.vodacom customer care is pathetic and supply defective goods with no integrity.
