I have a cellphone and two data bundles on contract with Vodacom. For more than two years I was happy with my contract and paid every month by debit order. In September 2013 I received a bill for over R6000.00 for the one data bundle account that my daughter used. At that time she was without a laptop as hers was in Grahamstown BUT THE DATA STICK WAS NOT WITH the laptop. I phoned Vodacom on numerous occasions to get an itemised bill for the outrageous amount on the account, but every time I was referred to another department. They suspended the line with immediate effect, and I had no problem with that. But while the dispute was lodged with them they deleted my CELLPHONE and other databundle line. In the meantime I have paid ALL outstanding ammounts on this account and now they can only re- instate it over seven days. They promise to re-emburse me with any money that I overpaid them, but I find it hard to believe!
