I had a 2mb line that ran perfectly showing downstream 2048kbps on my router like it should, for the last month and a half it has been jumping up and down getting dialup speeds, I upgraded my line to 4mb with a migration to afrihost because I was sick of dealing with telkom due to the problem persisting. I have logged numerous complaints where it was confirmed the line and techs were sent counting 4, all of them I received the sms saying resolved but no difference what so EVER!
There is definitely a fault on the line as I have tested with 2 different routers, 2 different RJ11 cables and 2 different data accounts.
Why do they employ incompetent technicians that just sit at the Exchange and say everything is fine without proper testing.
