Transfer of telephone adsl line

I applied online for the transfer of my home line within the same suburb. Shortly after that I was phoned by TELKOM and a date was set up... 13 December, with confirmation and an order reference number sent visa sms to me. A few days later I was again phoned to set up a date and, despite already having an order, I was told that there was no order on the computer and 13 December was again set up, this time no confirmation sms. 13 December came and went with nothing from TELKOM. I phoned on 18 December, giving the original reference number. Lo and behold, all details were on the computer after all. I was then put through to the technical side where I was told that my order had been escalated. It is now 15 December, I desperately need my internet connection for my job, and I have heard nothing further from TELKOM.
