I was alarmed when I saw my November 2013 account. Shocked I phoned Cell C customer services on Monday 12 November to ask assistance regarding charges on my account for things I did NOT subscribe for nor agreed upon. On my account the money that's being deducted falls under "smartcall"' "dialogueM00050" and "MIRA010", it costs me R21.94 per day. The person that helped me, informed me that she cannot do anything to help me stop the money from being deducted. She gave me numbers to phone and stop these deductions, the numbers: 021 300 9895, 021 914 5964 and 086 110 6472. After holding on forever and not getting through endless times one of these people told me to sms STOPMIRA010 AND STOPDIALOGUEM0050 to nr 14788. I did that and needless to say it did not help.
On 22 November I phoned Cell C customer care again, distressed about the money still being taken from my account. I am a Cell C customer, I thought as such I would be protected against advertising companies hacking into my account and abuse me as an "open cheque book" so to speak. Once again I was told that NOTHING could be done from Cell c's side. Please cancel my Contract
