Last Friday afternoon our DSL/telephone line suddenly went off and a fault was registered. We did not expect anything to happen over the weekend but on Monday morning (yesterday) a Telkom technician (Clive) called and eventually traced the fault to the local exchange (Gordons Bay). It was quickly repaired and at the same time he tweaked our DSL which is now working a lot better (though the exchange is obviously congested). Due to the weekend storms/flooding we did not expect such prompt service and were very relieved to get our line restored so quickly. Clive seemed very proficient and courteous and a big Thank You to him and Telkom for such outstanding service.
