Applied for a new line for home office in September. Been waiting 7 weeks for Telkom just to confirm whether they actually have infrastructure in the area and can install. I call fortnightly to find out whether there has been any progress and just get told that someone will call me back. It never happens. I have now lost patience with the complete and utter lack of service and lack of urgency from Telkom. I just tried to cancel my order, so I won't get billed when Telkom finally determines whether they will have infrastructure within the area at some point. The phone provider cut me off before I could complete the process. They apparently cannot even get my cancellation right. I will be contacting another service provider to assist me.
