Pathetic service

I have a contract with autopage and recently upgraded to a blackberry 9790. few weeks after i received the phone, the top part to unlock the phone broke when i was unlocking it. i found out that many people that use the exact phone experienced the same problem and all other suppliers took the phone and gave them a new one.
i immediately informed autopage about the problem but they refuse to take back the phone as i misplaced the box when i was moving from one house to another.
i do not understand what the box has to do with fixing the phone because the serial numbers appears on the phone and i do not pay for the box as this seem to be the main reason for not assisting me.
this has really inconvenienced me in every way as this phone dials up contacts on my list unexpectedly and consumes airtime.
