NO INFRASTRUCTURE IN CENTRAL RUSTENBURG NO WCDMA

I recently (1 Sept 2013) moved to a new premises in Central Rustenburg to get more exposure for my business. The tenants who rented here previously had a Telkom line ADSL. When I moved in and requested a new line, I was told that my area has no infrastructure to provide me with a line / broadband service. REF: 457723/35.

Upon investigation I was told that this is not in Telkom's budget for this financial year to update the infrastructure (which ends April 2014). Since then I have gone through the process of trying to acquire a WCDMA (wireless) phone, and upon completing all relevant documentation, was told to wait a day for the phone because there were at that stage problems with the Telkom system. The next day I get a call telling me that Telkom head office has told the Rustenburg branch to not issue WCDMA phones anymore because of some problem and that I would have to wait indefinitely for an answer or a phone for that matter.

Is there no way that a business in the Central area of Rustenburg can get a telephone line, never mind ADSL?? Pathetic.
