Incorrect cellphone contract

Last year in Octorber I activated the OTA using my cellphone to purchace airtime through my edgars account. In december last year my account was no longer excisting. I have am MTN sim card which is a prepaid, I ;ve been loading airtime on it since. On Sunday I lost my phone and when I called MTN i was told my phone on contract with RMCS. I called the RMCS and now to find out how my simcard was converted to contract without my knowledge I was told they will log a query and the administration dept will get back to me which im still waiting. I want to do a sim swap and have my number back ASAP because I never signed up for a contract I never received any airtime on my cellphone and I never paid anything. Please contact me alt 0761807707
