Signed up with MTN for their uncapped data bundle some time ago. Checked in advance what the coverage was for the address I was using it for. The agents phoned them and assured me I had 100% coverage and that signal would not be a problem. Signal has always sat at a low 19% or lower no matter where i put the stick in the house. I have the problem were the speeds are lower than advertised capping at a inconsistent maximum of 30kb's per 5 seconds. I was advised by the agents that download speeds would be 256kb's per second and indeed for the first month that is the speed I received but there after never again.
Some months the advertised 3GB "in bundle" data that is supposed to be high speed don't even get activated and when they do I get a maximum download speed of 90kb's per second which is far lower than the full 7-21mbps per second advertised. In addition to this I have also logged more than one complaint but never received any feedback. (MTN REQ:2559312, MTN REQ:2600668). I have gone into the service center to check if there's a fault with a tower etc but always get assured that everything is in working order.
NO connection is not acceptable.
