My Telkom line and ADSL service was down for a week earlier this month. Yesterday it went down again. Tonight, while trying to get an update from the call centre I asked to speak with a supervisor and was initially refused this request. After repeating the request I was then put on hold by the agent for more than 20 minutes. I eventually hung up the call.
Quite apart from the technical which is very annoying, Telkom's inability to communicate effectively around the problem just compounds the issue. Frankly I see little reason to keep my service with them.
