Handed over for an incorrect account

I was handed over to Saya recoveries for an "overdue account" of R4000 with no prior notice.
All accounts sent to me previously showed zero balances between payments. Michelle (no surname) advised I could cancel my contract since the club burned down months ago. I emailed her, she confirmed the last payment would go off the next month - it didn't. Then Saya calls me. I tried contacting Michelle, she seems to have disappeared. Then Jaqcueline assists me and says that has "written off" the amount because Michelle never told me about it. I insisted that even though i'm happy its written off, its not my account. Then Rozanne emails me with apologies, she's taken over the account and the amount is reinstated by.
I don't get replies to my queries. I have proof of payments. I am unable to contact. All I want is for someone to correct the mistake made please. For crying out loud, I hardly used the gym contract! You more than made your money out of me...
