It seems I am not the only one to complain about this, there for my warning to all prospective running shoe buyers - DON'T BUY NIKE!! My previous pair of running shoes was Asics and after some consideration and having to choose between Asics and Nike, I chose the Nike Structure 15 Zoom running shoes. Paid an enormous amount, just to ensure a "quality' running shoe which would support me in my training sessions.
Sad to say, less than one year later, and with 4 months not even running, I am now forced to buy new running shoes.
Never have I been advised by the sales person, neither is their any information booklet with the shoes, to inform you to ONLY RUN ON A CLEAN SWEPT ROAD.
I went for a run, stepped into a thorn and as irritating a noise it may be while running, I pulled the thorn from the sole. Only to hear how MY running shoes deflated; I had a puncture to the sole.
I was informed by the sales person at the shop, that Nike won't replace the shoes and I will have to buy a new pair, as they can't repair it either.
I phoned Nike's customer services, I left a message for somebody to assist me with my query, however 24hours later, i've had NO RESPONSE.
