My husband and I had smoothies at Pick n Pay at Fourways Crossing. On the wall (on more than one poster) the Chocolate decadence and Coffee decadence smoothies were advertised for R19.95. That is what we ordered. When we had to pay the MANAGER, Lucen of all people helped us, he rang the smoothies up as R21.95. I told him it was wrong and showed him the posters and said that it is Scanright and our smoothies should be free, according to their policy. He absolutely refused. I told him that it is wrong and unfair and that according to their policy (which is up all over the store) it should be free and if it isn't I will lodge a complaint. His (very rude and) answer was that I should so that they can tell me in detail that I am wrong. I have to add, the customer who was in front of us also had a big fight with the same manager, called Lucen and was also treated very rudely.
Last week I told friends how good the Scanright policy is and how honest Pick n Pay employees are, I TAKE IT ALL BACK!! It is a and they only apply it when it suits them!!!
I am very disappointed and feel like taking all my shopping somewhere else!
