What is happening with Woolworths pricing?? I have been a regular shopper at Woolworths for years, especially popping in for a family meal at least once a week. I am a working mom and regularly purchase a chicken or two and a salad for the family to give me a "day off". In a matter of 2 months the roasted chickens have increased from R45 to R66 each- what a joke.!! On enquirying about the ludicrous price increase, we were told that the supplier has been changed. At the detriment of the consumer???
On Sunday I decided to "throw caution to the wind" and bought 2 chickens for lunch on a special " buy 1 get the other one at half price"... well theeee most tasteless chickens ever... so I guess the spice supllier has also changed? Your comments would be welcome.
