Overcharging at PnP Camps Bay

Pick and Pay Caps Bay overcharge for items at the till. On at least three recent occasions I have been inaccurately overcharge at the checkout tills, i.e. the tills register a higher price that the price on the display shelf. Check the price on display compared to what you get charged at the till. If overcharging occurs, see duty manager immediately for a refund.

When I have brought these multiple instances of overcharging to managements attention, they come up with different excuses for this problem. The most recent being is that the branch is understaffed and that there is only one member of staff responsible for all the shelf pricing. In addition to this, no one has ever taken my name or contact details and bothered to investigate my complaint and respond back to me.

At best the management and staff in this store are completely incompetent and disinterested in rectifying these inconsistencies between display price and till price. At worst there is a deliberate effort by management and staff to blatantly and purposely ripoff customers.

On a separate note Camps Bay Pick and Pay store has poor levels of hygiene and cleanliness, not to mention the surly, often rude & unfriendly.
