4 months without stock... how is this possible??

I went to Checkers Hyper in Mayville to buy a Ottimo Candy Floss Machine that was on special. The only reply I got was, "There's no stock". I've been there 5 times and I already phoned 2x. Every time they tell me they are still waiting for the stock. Up until now (4 months later) I'm still waiting... and how much longer must I still wait??? How can something be advertised if there is NO stock at all??? It is like going into labour without being pregnant...
