I placed an order for 100% cotton per cale linen with Kidal Etc end of Sept '12. Total value R6000. A deposit of R3000 was required and transferred on 3/10/12 to their account. Jenal, the owner, promised me that the order would be ready in 10 - 14 working days, but this never happened. I started to inquire about the progress end of Oct 12, but no reply. They did not answer their phones or e-mails. Various attempts to follow up, followed. In Dec'12 I was told that my order was ready, but nothing! In Jan 2013 I was told that my order was send to my address, but the tracking number belonged to someone else. I was told that Jenal would get back to me by her assistant, Chey. On 8/02/13, I was contacted by Coco Linen, who confirmed that my order was ready. Apparently Jenal placed the order through them, but did not transfer the deposit. Proof of payment were sent to Coco and I was informed that I would get a refund from Kidal, but 2 weeks later-still no refund, even though I was promised that it was done on several occations. I flew to Cape Town and was about to open a case of /freud agains Kidal, when I received proof of payment 01/03/13. Kidal had no intention of sending my order!
