How many people have had their cellphones while shopping at Mr Price? This appears to be a country wide trend. My daughter & I were shopping at Mr Price (Northgate) & I heard her new message/sms alert tone. She did not look at it immediately, but continued to look at a garment. About 2min later, when she reached for it her phone was gone! It was in a zipped pocket in her handbag against her body. My daughter (24) ran to the shop front door & immediately report it to security. At this point another lady said that she felt someone try to grab her bag too. We all had an idea of what the suspects looked like and what clothing they had on, so my daughter stood at the door for 45min while i searched the shop as we were sure the were still in the shop. I guarantee you they were not, so how did they get out? The manageress apologized, she checked the fitting rooms but said they were all locked except for two. She never asked our names or numbers in case they found the phone. I made her phone the police, which she was not keen to do. Frankly I will be hesitant to shop at Mr Price again as the cost of replacing a phone far surpasses any saving I would make on their clothes
