Well most people in Ermelo know that you do not buy meat at Checkers Ermelo as most of the time it is rotten. Even I have had a few misshapps with this particular branch myself. On the weekend me and my friends decided to have a braai, and I nomally buy my meat from our PnP branch here. Unfortunately we realised that PnP was closed and i decided to give Checkers a bash again. Bad idea! Bought the Matured steak house classic range, almost ~R300 worth, Guess what... Rotten!!! Not matured, i am a chef, It was dead Rotten! To our surprise the ice cream we bought was also not good, somewhere in the cold chain of the store the ice cream melted and split... not the first time either! Now take this from a man in the service industry... This store needs serious attention!!! The new Store manager is absolutely useless, and needs to get control over his store, and staff! This never happened when Stephan Mare was still here! I also worked in the FMCG and particularly in this store as a rep, believe me guys... This store is sinking!!
