We were at Woolies Rivonia Village at about 12:39 on the 04/03/2012, I paid for my purchases and as I was doing so the cashier asked whether I was buying as a present for someone and whether I'd like her to have them wrapped for me.
if you've had to ask before especially at Edgars (lakeside mall to be specific) for a gift to be wrapped, you'd understand why I am impressed that a cashier offered the service without me even having to request.
It is rare to get good quality service at our retail stores, instead you get litteraly kicked out before closing time (again, Edgars Lakeside mall comes to mind), you get snorty comments and unwillingness to assist from the staff.
But in general, Woolies is stepping up in more stores than one when it comes to service and I am enjoying my shopping experiances more and more.
