I bought a Jeep cargopants @ R 600 from Jeep Ilanga Mall, Nelspruit in the latter part of 2012 as I deem Jeep clothing as quality. To my disappointment the pants came apart after the 2nd wash e.g. the zipper was not functional and the colour faded and the stitching came loose at places.
I took it back to the above outlet and without any trouble the senior saleslady returned the pants and I took a Jeep branded black jean in its place.
After wearing it 2/3 times the same happened - zipper broke again. Again I returned the jean but this time the same sales lady informed me that her "boss" said that I could have the zipper repaired myself.
Just before the insident I also bought 4 pairs of JEEP Chino pants from another outlet only to experience inferior quality issues on 2 pairs as it had torn in the inner thigh section - these pants were R 399 each - not cheap in my books but yet the so-called quality questionable.
I am not interested in acquiring Jeep clothing anymore and will use the Jeep items in my cupboard to paint, work on my vehicles and do gardening, BUT wearing it to work or to town, NO
i really worry that fake clothing might have ended up in Jeep Clothing shops.
