I bought a ring for my wife on 20th February. Unfortunately it would seem as if this ring manufacturer only makes rings for children as the ring had to be re-sized up by 8 sizes. You can imagine my total horror to be informed that a R1500 ring is now going to cost me and additional R480 to be re-sized. Had I known this, I would never have bought the ring. I was told that to re-size up or down by 2 sizes is R60. Why then do I have to pay R60 PER SIZE now that it exceeds 2 sizes. This is a rip-off and I am of the opinion that these rings are purposely made small so that clients can be ripped off by having to pay exorbitant amounts to make the ring wearable. You are also in a position where you HAVE to have it done because you have given this ring as a present. I spend quite a large amount of money at the Foschini group, but considering this and an incident at Markham and another at @Home last year, I think that it might be in my own best interest to sever all ties with this group of companies. I am tired of being ripped off by these large corporations who will do anything to get the money in the till.
